Wow, that is a really cool …”

Doesn’t matter where you are, what you are doing. You see more than one person looking up, you can’t help but checking out what’s there.

In the case of these two, it was nothing, they were simply looking at the clouds… Continue reading

Don’t know what to think of this one

Don't know what to think of this one

On one hand, it’s really cool to be immortalized in a church in Rome that also contains the (in my opinion) most impressive sculpture in Rome.

But on the other, how much of a bastard must you be to be immortalized being held up by two skeletons? That can’t be a good thing, right? Continue reading

Last Night Shot in Rome

Ok, this is the last one.
Completing the round trip through Rome, I walked by the river and saw this church.

Another Night Shot in Rome

Little Red Riding Pope

Immediately thought of Little Red Riding Hood and couldn’t stop laughing for the next 10 minutes.
And then I got in trouble with the police, because I was laughing inside the museum… Continue reading

A still unanswered question

A still unanswered question

Bob Dylan asked it and someone in Rome was wondering the same thing while having a bit of paint available.

I wonder if Bob would have an issue with someone riding down the road in a cool Italian moped instead of simply walking it… Can we get a ruling on this?… Continue reading

How do you get there?

How do you get there?

Not surprisingly, there were very few houses on this alley. It is hard work finding one… Continue reading

Travelling to Roma, the Eternal City

October 16th, 2009 flip 2 comments

Here are the pictures from the Rome trip I took for a wedding (and my birthday, by chance).
It was one of the nicest birthdays I’ve had so far. In addition to that, I had not visited Rome in quite some time (last time I was 12 or 13) and it was wonderful to see the city as a grown up. It also made me realize how little I remembered… Continue reading
