I have a very vivid memory of downloading the new version of Netscape Navigator in 1994. I do not remember which version it was (although I think it was 3.0), but it was a – at the time – mammoth 15 Mb. In order to download that frightful amount of data, I left the computer on and connected (on a time limited dial up line) for a whole night.
