Just realized that I had never posted the shot that I was setting up when I made a friend at Great Falls Park. Terrible oversight…
I’m not entirely happy with the result, I have to say. I had read online that my camera wasn’t a great fit for IR, but since I love IR and I don’t want to switch… Continue reading
This leaf apparently didn’t get the memo that it’s Fall.
Although all shriveled, it’s still hanging on for a few more days before it joins its siblings on the ground.
I don’t think the persistence will pay off, but it’s an admirable quality… Continue reading
I’ve seen crocodiles that look like logs, that’s a pretty standard trick for crocodiles.
But this was the first time I saw a log that looked like a crocodile.

And… Continue reading
Last one at Rock Creek Park (at least until the next visit).
Kept this one for last because I kept trying to get a better shot of it, but the weather has been terrible still, so no luck so far… Continue reading
The leaves are simply amazing right now at Rock Creek Park.
The weather has been extra crappy the last week (today is a gorgeous combination of 18% and 75% gray in the sky – lovely), but I managed to get this one during a break in the crappiness… Continue reading
Ok, pathetic attempt at the title.
But, that aside, I just loved this leaf when I spotted it and had to take a picture of it. One of the best things about Fall are the all the colors, just lying around waiting to be photographed. Ah, how I love the Fall… Continue reading
Probably the last day I could take this picture at Glen Echo Park, for Fall is arriving in the DC area very fast and the trees are becoming more colorful everyday.
There are already plenty of fallen leaves, as you can see in the rocks, but the most remaining ones are still green… Continue reading
